The Identity Theft Resource Center and IdentityHawk® Partner on Consumer Education Program

Norwalk, CT -- The Identity Theft Resource Center® (ITRC), a nationally recognized non-profit organization supporting victims of identity theft, and IdentityHawk®, a leading identity protection service, established a partnership dedicated to consumer education.

The ITRC and IdentityHawk® will work together to conduct studies focusing on increasing consumer awareness and gathering facts about identity theft.

The ITRC and IdentityHawk® have already worked together on a public service awareness effort to provide complimentary service to hurricane victims, and to provide knowledge about data breaches.

Said Jeff Paradise, executive director of IdentityHawk®, “Knowledge is power. We know that by partnering with the ITRC, we will be able to empower consumers to take action to help prevent them from becoming victims of identity theft. Consumers with that knowledge can know what to look for in guarding against identity theft.”
